Has anyone out there tried colon cleansing and what did you think of it? My friend is trying to convince me to do it with her, but I think it is a scam. All the websites about it want you to pay hundreds of dollars for their colon cleansing "systems." Does anyone know the facts about whether or not this really does anything to remove toxins? Please include links if you have them, thanks!

There are websites that can give you reasonable instruction for using an enema. It’s actually very simple. Save the money. Spend it on something you really want. Find a book called Back to Eden. Eat a diet with a goodly amount of fiber and you won’t need to use laxatives, enemas or other cleansing agents. As for toxins, your liver and kidneys are probably more important in removing them from your body.
