colon cleansing?
I gave birth to my second child in June of 2007. Throughout the whole pregnancy I was constipated. I still feel that way. The second part to the question is….I have worked my butt off. I have done diet after diet and I have been working out and I can’t lose the weight. Will a colon cleansing help me lose some of the weight and help me to not feel so constipated. And does anyone have any good ideas on how to lose weight even though I have tried really hard. Please help me!

That just does not sound right.
Weight loss= calories used(burned) – calories of food intake
For every 3500 calorie surplus you gain a pound or lose a lb when you work out. Very simple unless you have a medical condition.
Try writing down everything that you put in your mouth and see how fast the calories add up. I see people at the gym who work hard and then go next door for donut and coffee.
Consult with your doctor regarding the constipation. If you have increased fiber and still are constipated then ask about a stool softener.
If you’re talking about a colon cleansing diet, don’t do it. They’re just marketing ploys. Your colon cleanses itself naturally through digestion and elimination.
If you are having trouble with constipation, you really should see a doctor. I had this as well and went to the doctor; turns out I was dehydrated. Constipation can be really dangerous if you let it go. Make sure you’re drinking water, and the dr. will probably give you a laxative to kickstart it. Then she’ll tell you what foods you should be eating and avoiding.

if you feel constipated use a fleet enema and go poop in less than 5 minutes, feels great.
Forget the "colon cleansing." Just a bunch of bs!
Add fiber to your diet plus some prunes each day. Natural laxatives. Cut back on cheese if you’re eating much of that. Check with doc if this doesn’t work.
Weight control is a simple matter of calorie management. Too many and you gain, too few and you loose.

Colon cleansing definitely helps. I’m taking China’s super diet tea and that’s what it does. But in combination with that, you have to run at least half an hour to an hour per day and cut down food intake by half.
No…a colon cleansing will NOT make you loose any "real" weight. It will lower your water content and you’ll drop water weight, but not much fat.
Now, if you are having bowel problems, and want to use a colon cleanse for that issue, then have at it. Many people used a colon cleanse, or colon detox, on a monthly or semi-monthly basis and it has a very positive effect on their bowel movements and "inner health."
