Cleaning out intestines?
I need to pretty much clean all the junk out of my intestines; but I can’t afford to spend a lot of money on it. Any suggestions on a cheap, effective, easy way to clean out my intestines? I tried to drink some Epsom salt and water earlier.. it was so horrible tasting. I took like 2 drinks of it.
There is junk in my intestines.

I don’t know if you actually have any junk in your intestines, but if you want to clean them out safely and inexpensively do one of the following two things:
1) Do a one day fast where you consume nothing but dark grapes with seeds. Eat the seeds and all and eat as much as you want. Stay near the toilet the second half of the day.
2) Do a one day fast where you consume nothing but watermelon and again eat all you want. Ditto on the toilet advice.
The grapeseed fast has the added benefit of all the good phytonutrients and antioxidants in grapes and grapeseeds. The watermelon fast has the added benefit of being good for your kidneys and helping dissolve any small kidney stones that you might have.
Regardless of what may or may not be in your intestines, the benefits of occasional fasts are well established and accepted in alternative medicine.
You don’t need to clean out your intestines. Don’t waste any money on scam treatments. You really shouldn’t drink Epsom salts either. There isn’t any "junk" in your intestines.
"Cleaning out the intestines" has no medical benefit. It’s an alt med scam to get you to buy all sorts of useless products. Toxins are metabolized and cleaned out by the liver and to a smaller extent, the kidneys. Your guts on the other hand do not store these "toxins." Instead, intestines are responsible for the digestion and absorption of food, the reabsorption of water and the removal of the undigested remnants of your last meal.
A diet rich in fibre does help keep your bowels moving, preventing constipation, and even lowers the risk of colon cancer. So eat lots of veg.
Drink a couple of glasses of Prune juice. That’ll clean you out real good.

No you don’t.
There is no ‘junk’ in your intestines unless you’re constipated. Try muesli and prunes if you’re not regular. At this time of year porridge is good too and will give you a low GI start to the day.
Unless you are due for a medical examination, or have some underling medical problem (for which you should see a REAL doctor) there is no possible reason whatsoever for cleaning out your intestines, your body has evolved to do this automatically and there is no known medical benefit for doing so.
When you already understand the significance of doing it safely & smartly, go for the natural alternatives available. But remember, you should always try & buy supplements from reputable companies which manufacture their products in an FDA registered, GMP ( Good manufacturing Practices) compliant facility and adhere to Full Spectrum Approach of extractions and having its ingredients (if homeopathic) registered with Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia of the United States (HPUS).
Some of the herbs that are considered extremely effective, yet gentle in acting as a natural liquefier to gently loosen the contents of the colon, promote routine ‘flushing out’ of the colon without upsetting microflora, support colonic ecology, and support the body’s process of regular toxin and waste removal are:
Cascara sagrada (Bearberry) – It has a long history of traditional use by Native Americans and was introduced by Northern California Indians to Spanish explorers in 16th century. Cascara sagrada contains compounds called anthroquinones, which trigger routine contractions in the colon that stimulate the urge to have a bowel movement. Recent studies have investigated the properties of this herb to assist with gentle waste removal from delicate digestive systems.
Plantago psyllium (Seed husks) is native to Iran and India. Psyllium seed husks are primarily used in traditional herbal medicine, as they contain a high level of soluble dietary fiber. The swelling of the husk (when it comes in contact with liquid) forms a gelatinous mass that helps to keep stool hydrated and soft, and acts as a natural ‘broom’ to sweep the walls of the colon. In particular, this ingredient has been studied for its ability to promote colon health.
Althaea officinalis (Marshmallow) – It contains large sugar molecules called mucilage, which are thought to exert a soothing effect on mucous membranes, and this is the basis of most proposed uses of the herb. It is also a natural anti-inflammatory for the gastrointestinal tract.
Cinnamomum cassia (Chinese cinnamon) – Recent studies have tested this herb for its positive effect on the digestive system. It has also been praised for its promotion of settled tissues and membranes in various tracts from the stomach to the colon.

How to clean out your intestines:
1 can of beans
15 cloves of garlic
5 jalapenos
2 habaneros
Mix all together and eat it… raw, wash down with some coffee, and sit on the can with a decent book I recommend "The Legend of Huma" and don’t make any plans for the next 48 hours.
