I used to poop whenever I felt like it or whenever I got the "urge" to. Then I did not have a bowel movement for five days(I ate a lot of peanut butter and jelly, cheese. After using Fleet enemas, Miralax, prune juice, and eight cups of water combined with a modified diet, I begin to have bowel movements(usually daily) but only in the afternoon and usually once. The thing is that I have to sit on the toilet and wait. No urge to defecate. I’m urinating frequently too.

Has my colon became inactive? I’m a 16 year old male. I took Miralax for only two days and used two Fleet enemas, a week apart. I have that extremely uncomfortable bloating. I have shortness of breath. I have done a sonogram which only revealed mild hydronephrosis in my left kidney.

I am a female who is 5’4 and 130 lbs. I go to the gym regularly and have a healthy lifestyle and eating habits. Due to the fact that I am short and have muscular parents I have big arms (bulky) and large calf’s and tights (bulky) though not fat. It just runs in my family… But I am really trying to figure out how to lose about 10-15lbs without bulking up. I regularly run and do elliptical and take some Pilate’s classes… but still I tend to bulk… I admit I could still do more working out but I do go regularly…

that being said I am on the medicine Accutane for acne and am in my 2nd month and loving the results. Obviously there are a lot of bad things going around about the medicine and that is why I am curious…

Would it be bad to mix the Acai Berry and possibly a Colon Cleanse system with the Accutane? I do not want to upset my body… but I do want to lose weight without bulking up like I tend to do. I am also curious if these products are natural like they say or if they have a lot of chemicals? For I don’t like to put to many chemicals and crazy things into my body.. I don’t even take Tylenol unless I am in dire pain.

I would be open to hear other suggestions but I am not looking to get into any extreme diet due to the fact that I already eat pretty healthy…

So overall I guess my question is How do I lose 10-15 lbs and slim down and NOT bulk up!

Thanks!

Sorry this is going to be a bit gross but thank you for your time.

I am 19 and have no history of colon cancer or really cancer in my family.

For the past 3 months I have been having thin stool/flat stool. There was no blood I could see.

I decided to really change my diet over the weekend and started taking benefiber. My stool were very healthy looking. This morning I had ribbon shaped stool.

Another thing to ad I am a bit of a hypochondriac and I really was straining last week and gave myself hemroids.

I went to the bathroom again and there was a tiny bit of bright red blood on the toilet paper and small amounts in the stool.

I am going to the doctor today but please I am scared out of my mind. What do you think?

Is it wise to have the Acai Berry pill or do the Colon Med during Atkins, or will it ruin everything? Also I want to know how to transition out of Atkins. I know that there’s a maintenance phase, but I have a lot of trips planned for next year, and I know that I can’t follow it forever. Is there a way to transition to more and more carbs maybe like 5 grams every 2 weeks? And please don’t say anything like Atkins is unhealthy, or you made a mistake. My cholesterol dropped 22 points, a 15 year low, and my sugar dropped 10 points. It works, but I don’t want to be a slave to this diet. Thanks in advanced…
The thing is that, I’m between the OWL and pre-maintenance phase. So basically, I’m close to my goal weight. I want exact answers, not to sound l3itchy, but this is a crucial stage in my life… haha…

I am 17 years old. I work out often, don’t eat red meat and my diet consists of mainly fiber. I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome ( the condition in which you’re constipated). I get full easily, have stomach cramps, have a hard time with bowel movements, and I always feel tired. Lately, I have been losing weight but I’ve felt bloated too. Just today, I found blood in my stool. Since my family has a history of colon cancer, I’m really scared that I have it too. But I’m so young!! Can someone help me out?!

ok i’ve been dieting since june now we r ending july when i started i weighted 134 pounds yesterday i weighted my self on the afternoon and i weight 126 pounds i am 5 feet tall. on does days dieting i always vary my calories intake i was supposed to eat 600 calories or less a day everyday but sometimes i over ate by eating like 1200 calories a day or 1000 calories and when that happened i always felt guilty that i cheated on my diet most of the times i eat 500 to 700 calories a day from vegetables and fruits. i always make sure i eat some protein too but not too much. ok so does days i exercised like 3 times or 4 week dancing for and hour or 2 now i told my self i needed to get more active so i walk from 3 to 6 miles a day and run on saturdays and dance for an hour on Wednesdays oh and rest on sundays and eat 800 cal a day or less i want to be 115 pounds before i get in school on sep 9 could these help me lose weight and can my metabolism be slow now i sweat alot i think my metabolism is still working alot i eat four to five times a day i drink 2 litters of water everyday and i drink 2 to 3 cups of green tea i do colon cleanse on fridays and i started taking omega 3 supplements will it make me burn more fat taking it does it works?? and if i need to adjust these please tell me how THANK YOU FOR reading i hope i get lots of help with this.

Ok, here’s what I eat: brown rice with flax, grapefruit, apples, plums, cherries, grapes, cantaloupe, watermelon, swiss chard, broccoli, carrots, bell peppers, onions, summer squash, tomatoes, spinach, hemp protein powder… I suffer from constipation, food sensitivities (gluten, soy, corn, nuts and seeds) and a continually bloated abdomen which is NOT ok because I model. I had a colonoscopy and was found to have a beautiful colon (I know, what?! gross) but a slow one. I don’t want to go on meds. What can I do? I drink plenty of water, only two cups of yerba mate a day, no salt. I exercise. I’ve started with some digestive enzymes, but I don’t know what else will help. Should I add egg whites back in the diet and try to cut back on some of my fiber? I don’t know if I could do it. Please please please help me.

I’m starting to give my hopes up after I’ve tried nearly all diets and none have worked for me. In the summer I plan to make a colon cleanse and take parasite meds, and for now I’m on a lo/no carb diet. I’ve tried the no fat diet, the low sugar diet, and even the most basic one, the "eat less exercise more" diet.
I just don’t know what to do anymore. If it helps any, the kind of fat my body is making is deep-fat, as in my body is making a potbelly instead of distributing fat all over the body. All answers help, thanks everyone.

I am 16 years old, a couch potato but I jump on a trampoline every day to every other day, a tend to stand alot but mostly sit down. i must say i do have a bad diet, when school let out i came to my cousins where they only have 1 meal a day and ive been here for almost 4 weeks and have lost 20 pounds! i thought it was because i was staying over here but i was a little suspicious since i have not lost a pound in years. for the past 2 months i have had blood in my stool and becuase it was hard i suspected it was a hemmorhoid and then it just stopped about a week ago altogether. just yesterday my right side around the bottom of my right rib cage started having minor pains so i looked it up and read it could be colorectal or colon cancer. can you guys help me. im about to cry and im only 16. i dont want to die young. i was about to ask out a girl that means the world to me around the time i went back to school and i dont think i can be with her if i find out i cant spend the rest of my life with her. shes my everything. <3

My dad has no health insurance because he was recently fired from his job. He has always had constipation and lethargy due to a poor diet, lack of exercise, and lack of sleep. The other day he told me that he had a strange sense of fullness. We had dinner at 8 pm at night and he told me he was still full at 2 pm the next day. His exact words after dinner were "I could have eaten more" and then the next day he says "I feel really full for some reason". I thought it was strange and then on in the week he told me he had a bloody stool. He is trying to calm himself down by saying it is just hemorroids but I think it could be early stages of colon cancer and he is deluding himself. Without health insurance, what should he do?

I have recently lost about 30 pounds but need to lose a lot more. I lost the Original weight just through exercising and a healthier lifestyle. I seem to be "stuck" and was researching diet pills. The acai berry pills seems like a very attractive option, and I’ve seen them combined with the colon cleanse. I was wondering what these will actually do to my body and what to expect if I do decide to take them. Are they safe for me to take? (I’m 19 is that makes a difference). Should the 2 be combined or is one good enough alone? If anyone has any experiences or knowledge what-so-ever, I appreciate it!

I am loooking into starting this acai berry diet thing, with the colon cleanse so I was wondering if this casuses you to go to the bathroom a lot if you know what I mean?

does it make you shit a lot? in lamen terms lol

You know, the one form Oprah and Dr. Oz, and where ever else its shown up at. I want to know a few things;
1. Does it actually work?
2. I never actually read the articles, but I caught wind that it is bad for long term use. True or false?
3. Is it okay to use to jump start a diet? I read, I believe it was a News 6 article, of a woman who lost 25 pounds in 4 weeks. If it can do that, then that’s just the motivation I need. After the 25 pounds, I’ll be off it and on to the normal healthy stuff like I want.
4. Where can I find it without ordering it online? Come on, I’m 18, I’m at my last year in high school, I still live with my parents (who are a few of the last people I want to know what I’m trying to do) and I don’t exactly have a bank account or whatever. BUT I do have a job, lol. So, would the products be easy to find in a store? Like, there’s one in the mall full of weird health supplements and stuff. Maybe?
5. What exactly is the RIGHT products for this? I’ve heard of ColoClean, Colon Cleanse, Acai Fit, Acai… something I can’t remember. What EXACTLY is the right products for this new hype?

Mind you, if it is actually unhealthy for long term uses, I just need the 25 in 4 and I’m calling it quits for sure. Even if it was okay for long term use, I’d still call it quits. So, no speeches and lectures are nessecary. Pleeeease ^-^

i get nauseous regularly, maybe a couple days a week ill have a few minute phase and then it goes away [almost always at night.] this has been happening since i last vomited in june, before i didnt have that feeling [i think its partially due to the fact that i am severely afraid of throwing up.] i also have extremely varying stools, maybe once a month ill try to go to the bathroom and a bit of mucus comes out instead, and once or twice before ive had pencil stools. andd other than that i get different [but considered normal] stools, and my diet is diverse so im pretty sure thats why. i dont bleed when i go to the bathroom nor is it painful.my grandfather had colon cancer but he was a heavy drinker/smoker. im 14, female, and have had my period for 2.5 years. im a vegetarian and i dance about 10 hours a week, though i got a fracture one month ago so i havent been able to properly exercise since then. i know that its rare for young people but the awkward stools/nausea for the past few months has started to worry me. thank you for any advice i really appreciate it, i dont want to get a colonoscopy or something :/

I’m 20 years old, male from Toronto Canada.
I’ve grown up not necessarily the most healthy active young man but towards the last 5 years of my life I took up running, bmxing ect.. all kinds of sports. I’ve started to eat consciously to what I’m putting into my body.

September 2010, I was 6’4", and healthy for my weight, 145lbs.

As of recently, I have lost 10 pounds without change to my diet or lifestyle.
More recently than the weight loss, I’ve lost my appetite, which usually was quite ferocious.
My bowl movements have changed severely, now more rapid and frequent. Also discolored, thinner and less consistent. This is accompanied by pains in my abdominal region, aches, cramps, and more gas than usual for me, a lot more. Often I find myself keeling over at work or school and feeling as if there was broken glass inside my digestive track. Before this came and passed a day here and there, now it’s daily, some hours go by without a sign, but most days are a frequent discomfort.

In the last 3 years I have had traces of blood in my stool roughly 3 times.

Also I’ve had trouble sleeping, and when I do sleep, I still never feel rested.

I’m wondering if this seems to be like signs of Colon Cancer? My grandfathers both have passed away from what began as Colon Cancer..

I do intend to not monkey around and go see my Doctor soon but.. I’m just wondering what the general consensus is about this? If it sounds like I’m just recovering from some bug or if this seems like something to be worried about.. I’ve never heard of a 20 yearold with such Cancer.

I have been feeling tired and sluggish, having allergy problems, as well as skin breakouts so I am going to try to detox and get a colon cleanser. after two semesters of caffeine, fast food, no sleep, work and school, I think it would be a spectacular idea. I plan to do a raw food diet but am not sure what to do about the colon cleanser (what brands, foods, ways to do it, etc.). any kind of expertise would be greatly appreciated!

Ok so this started a little over a month ago. It started with a tooth ache, then my lower abdomen started bothering me, two days later, I was in and out of the bathroom about 6 times in two hours feeling like I was going to have diarrhea or throw up. I went to the dentist because I though it had something to do with my tooth, which he said I was just grinding my teeth. So I went to the doctor two days later, and he said it was just intestinal cramping. It was still bothering me two days later, but it was like a dull ache with my stools being all over the place. ie. loose, diarrhea, excess mucus in them. So I went back again and he sent me to have a CT scan and X-Ray of my abdomen, which all came back negative. So he then sent me to see a specialist on May 19th, I went to him, and he gave me some Donnaltal (sp?) and said to come back in a month if it isn’t any better. Well it hasn’t gotten any worse, but it hasn’t really gotten a lot better, I bought some Bennefiber and have been taking that, and trying to make sure I get enough fiber into my diet for about two weeks now. Well sometimes when I wipe I see like little specs of what look light orange, or maybe even light red, but pretty sure it’s light orange specs in my stool or on the toilet paper (no bigger then maybe a grain of Kosher salt) Saturday and today my stool smelled real bad. Wondering if maybe this is Colon Cancer, IBS, or maybe just IBS with anxiety. not sure I can wait another two weeks to go see the specialist again. Again I am a 23 year old male, who is overweight but working on changing that once I figure out what this is.
I’ve also had blood test for Diabetes, Kidney, and Liver Function. Urine test were negative too.
Keep leaving stuff out, sometimes it kind of looks like there is undigested food in my stool.

I’m 16 years old and I weigh over 225 lbs. I’m 5"3 and I’m wondering if there is something like under aged liposuction or something I can do. I cannot diet because diets require running and exercise and I have a bad tailbone so I cannot do anything that requires movement below the hips faster than a walk. Sitting down even hurts so I need a different way. I know that under aged lipo is dangerous, but I’ve gone so far over my weight that I can’t bare to see myself anymore. I am dangerously overweight and getting worse. I eat a very balanced diet that my mom makes sure I stick with. I have been on other weight loss things from Jenny Craig’s, Health watchers, Acai Berry, Colon Cleanser, Nutri System, Some older pills I can’t remember, actually I’ve tried almost every kind of pill for weight loss, I even tried drinking lots of water, and nothing. Everything I do increases weight. It’s slightly hereditary and I do undergo a lot of stress, but it’s getting out of control. I wont do gastric bypass EVER! That is even more dangerous I think. What can I do? I need to lose the weight before I get too high. I gain more and more each week and I don’t change anything I do. I eat under 1400 calories and I am always up and walking daily because of school. I can”t even fit in any of my clothes anymore which are extra larges. And I have to wear huge sweat pants since I can’t fit in ANY jeans anymore…

Can I have lipo?
Can I have that different kind of lipo thats gentle?
Is there a diet pill that WILL work that isn’t too pricey?

I want to lose weight within a year, I want to be down to the size I’m suppose to be at. I should wight around 130-140lbs. What can I do? I can’t decrease my food intake either, my doctor says its unhealthy. (I don’t really eat fatty foods and junk except 2 times a day and they are usually under 200 calories and low on fat.)
I CANNOT EXERCISE I HAVE A BAD TAILBONE I BROKE IT JUST READ THE STUPID INFORMATION!!! JESUS!

Yesterday when i went to the bathroom i had bright red blood on the toilet paper and a little blood in the water. I went another time later that night and the same thing happened but i had less blood. Could this be colon cancer? The stool was completely normal color so iv ruled out internal bleeding higher up the intestinal track but it still worries me. First off im 18 years old and have NO family history of cancer and have never had anything wrong with me before. Iv heard that a cause of this could be internal hemroids bursting. Can anyone confirm this. I am overweight and have had hemroids before so im really hoping that this is it. I also dont have a strict diet so not much Fiber. My stool is usually hard. Im going to eat foods with fiber and drink alot of water and update tommarow. Also i really really dont want to have to deal with a doctor at all. So please ease my mind :) thanks.
Ok so i woke up this morning and went and still had blood. Hope thats normal. If it is a Hemoroid or fissur any idea on how long it would take to stop bleeding? Thanks for the posts so far. You’ve been really helpfull, and made me feel a lot better.

Hi, I am a 16 female and I really want to try the colon cleanse and acai berry together and see if I lose weight. Has anyone my age-ish tried this diet and found that it works? Or doesn’t? I am 150 pound and want to lose about 15-20. Also, do you know any places that sell them both in Melbourne and how much they are? Also, if you lost weight, how much and in what amount of time? Thanks :)
these are the products i wanted to try, just not buy over the internet.

I am on a clear diet and TPN. As long as I do not eat the swelling in small bowel goes down. When I eat the swelling returns and takes a few days to go down after I stop eating again. This does not sound like a symptom of chron’s. There has not yet been a colonoscopy or biopsy for definate diagnosis. I also have a drain placed in my lower right abdomen to drain an abcess caused by a tear in the colon due to the swelling. CT shows stranding in affected section. Does this sound like Chron’s or could this be something else.
