I’m a 42 yr. old female. I am currently experiencing moderate butt pains. Some burning. I have had no changes in diet, no changes in bathroom (constipation or diarrhea), no blood in my stool. The discomfort is somewhat persistant although it doesn’t interfere at all with sleeping.
I have used Prep H with not a lot of relief. I have taken Aleve but that doesn’t seem to work either.
I have no troubles at using the restoom. I have increased my intake of fiber so, of course, I have extra gas.
I thought if it was hemorroids, that Prep H or Aleve would help.
Please, serious answers only. I really want to know.
Someone very dear to me has just had a foot of their colon removed with a large tumor and 15 of 18 of the surrounding lymphs showed positive for cancer from the pathology report, now the suggested treatment is 6 months of chemo, 3 days in a row (port surgically implanted) every other week. I have no idea what other kinds of treatments there are, i am just so worried about this regiment, and how hard it is going to be, has anyone gone through this that can help me? I want to know more about the subject so that i can help my loved one through this and help make sure this is the right decision on the chemo. Does chemo make you extremely ill? ANY insight will be much appreciated….
IF SOMEONE HAS COLON CANCER AND IT IS IN THE BONES OR HAS SPREAD TO THE BONES AND IS GOING THROUGH TREATMENT IS THERE A GOOD CHANCE OF IT BEING CURED?
What could predispose a patient to this cancer?! What could be the signs and symptoms?
There are no cancer cells in our bodies , but an environmental cause free radical mutation from chlorine (carcinogen.)into our rapid growth cells, It reacts directly with amino acids in the DNA helix mutation causing rapid growth cancer cells.
all human carcinogen (cancer causing).cancer cells in our bodies have the same DNA mutation foot print. Finding the reason is a cells DNA is most vulnerable during rapid growth.
These cancer cells do not show up in the standard tests until they have multiplied to a few billion. tests are unable to detect the cancer cells because they have not reached the detectable size…because cancer takes so long between the time you’re exposed to chlorine free radical mutation, to the rapid growth cells during ,rapid growth .Mutated cells Go dormant. Intel the cells are re-injured (damaged) this time you get your cancer !
Chloramines, like chlorine, are oxidators. Chloramines can kill bacteria by penetration of the cell wall and blockage of the metabolism. Monochloramine is the most effective disinfectant. It reacts directly with amino acids in the bacterial DNA. During deactivation of microorganisms chloramines destroy the shell which protects the rapid growth cells.
AMAS blood test Requesting an Anti-Malignan Antibody (AMAS), which is "looking" for an antibody, a protein the body produces against foreign matter, in this case cancer cells. It is a new test and if run twice, the false positives and false negatives drops to under 1%. It can mean life or death! If you find you have cancer, the odds are that there is a 99% chance of a cure Testing for AMAS can pretty much let you come to the conclusion that cancer is hiding somewhere in your body, should the test results come back positive. This will allow you to start treatment before the cancer has a chance to spread. Whether it is breast cancer, prostate cancer, lung cancer, colon cancer or some other form of a common cancer, AMAS should be a part of your personal checkup and should be requested at your doctor’s visit.
3 Originally, the pregnancy test was used as a cancer test. Cancer patients, either men or women in menopause, were "pregnant" when they took this test A quantitative test was developed which measures HCG. A reading of 50 and below showed no malignancy and 50 and above was more likely to show malignancy. Obviously the quantitative test could be used to screen for cancer. According to these findings, any man, or any woman who has since ceased having a menstrual period, could take a pregnancy test and if it registered positive may indeed have a lurking cancer.
For those individuals who are not inclined to have regular checkups, this would be an invaluable means to find out if there was a malignancy in the body. If the pregnancy test results in a positive reading, than the blood test, AMAS, would be helpful in reaching a final medical conclusion. Done twice, the AMAS test is undeniably reliable and the amount of money saved, sparing the patient test after test, would be enormous.
please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My friend’s Dad has received bad news about liver cancer and she’s having a hard time processing the information.
I’ve looked on google but I cannot find something that simply explains why liver cancer (secondary) is so hard to treat.
Her Dad has two small spots on his liver and feels good but there are no treatments for him left. His CEA is very high (100+). She’s struggling with understanding why two small spots cannot be treated. Anyone have an articles online that explains it?

My Mom’s doctor has prescribed Capecite as a chemotheraphy drug after her clostomy LAR surgery. Is this the best option for curative intentions? Is there any other better, more advanced tablet which could be taken?

(18 yrs of age)
For the past couple months I have had overly excessive gas, bloating, and some stomach pains. When I use the bathroom, I almost always strain and I am always left with the feeling that same feeling of needing to go to go to the bathroom (#2). Sometimes when I use the bathroom to poop, my stool comes out thin.
Recently I have been feeling slightly nauseous and at times I get a dizzy feeling.
I’d like to know if there is something wrong and if I should take precautions to consider cancer or any other illness.
Any medical information will be great. Please and Thank you.
2 months passed since my last treatment. cancer is gone(clean bill of health). i was told it would take anywhere from 4-6 months for my bowel movements go back to normal. rumor has it that it would take 11 months to a year. anybody been through this or knows somebody who has. how long did it take for them. did they or you take anything(vitamins) to speed up the healing process.. getting tired of going to the bathroom 5-7 times a day.

My father in his early 50′s got diagnosed with Colon cancer stage 3. Had surgery about 7 weeks ago. VERY little has spread past his colon wall to his lymph nodes (less than 3)
His chemo is about to start in 4 days through a PICC line. The medicine in the chemotherapy is Oxaliplatin, Leucovotin, 5-Fluorouracil insfusion.
He’ll be in chemo for 2 months, the radiation with chemo and then chemo… Is this kind of treatment good for this stage of colon cancer? More information on the drugs?? Could he possibly find another treatment? What is the best thing for him to do right now?
if you are diagnosed with colon cancer that is also in your bones or spreading to your bones is it possible for it to go away completely and be cured with treatment?
I am a survivor of rectal cancer and want to get a team together to raise awareness. However, I am not very creative when it comes to clever names. My first name is Chris. Any help is greatly appreciated.
My husband was diagnosed with colon cancer in November of 2007, which spread to his liver, Stage IV. His cancer marker was 349 and the doctors said he could expect to live 6 months, that his cancer would probably not respond well to chemo. After 6 chemo treatments, his cancer marker came way down to 101, but no one will tell us he can now expect to live years instead of months. Anyone know what we should expect?
I was due for a colonoscopy 11years ago after the removal of a 2cm polyp 15 years ago. I am 37 and I have two children and I feel so irresponsible. I have had chronic hemorrhoids so haven t worried about anything. I am going to have my colonoscopy but until then, I can t sleep! What are my chances of having a recurrence of polyp?
What treatment would you recommend?
