I have Crohn’s Disease and I’m afraid taking Colonex 700 would hurt my Crohn’s. Crohn’s is more of a reaction of the body to all the nasty bacteria we put in it than a disease but that’s what it’s called is a disease. Colonex 700 cleanses the colon of all that bacteria but my family won’t let me take it unless they know 100% that it will not harm me, and I’m only 17 so I have to do what my family says. Someone, help me!

I’ve been having these cervix/rectal pains for a few months. They are not frequent and maybe only happen once a month or so. I don’t get them on my period, most of the time I am ovulating when I get them.

They are sharp, shooting pains and come randomly and instantly. They do nottt feel anything like cramps

They’re not so bad that I’m unable to do things but because of the randomness of them I got them today at work and it was awful

It hurt soooo badly but I could still walk around and clean and do things..

I’m only 14, I’m a virgin. I’ve had my period since I was 9/10. My periods have always been regular and they’re still regular.

What are these pains and what is causing them?

I know its not my appendix. It doesn’t hurt at all when i put pressure on my side…anywhere. Its only when i have gas or a BM. Its been going on for 4 days now, and its not as bad as it was in the beginning, just wondering what is is? Did i pull a muscle, or do i just need to eat more fiber? I have been drinking lots of water and taking it easy to be safe.

for the past year or two i have had rectal bleeding i am 17 years old, and will somtimes just leak with mucus i think thats what it is anyway could be more blod , but blood on paper most times, pain not so much but continues to bleed a little bit after any ideas what it could be ?

While I don’t doubt that we all have 8-12 lbs of crap stuck in our intestines and colon, do these products actually flush it out?

If so, what, if any, health benefits would result from having it flushed out?

Also what would happen if I took it? Would I be running to the bathroom to crap out half digested pizza rolls from 5 years ago?

My mother is 44 yrs old and is a diabetic. She also has sarcoidosis and ulcerative colitis. I think that she also has poor circulation in her legs, but its not a forsure thing. She has been having a fever, loose stool, nausea, vomiting, and intense pain in her colon area for about 24 hours. Can any of these diseases she have effect this… or can poor circulation? Thanks.

This is a little long but PLEASE bear with me.Please help me if you can.I have already sought medical attention and am waiting for results,although in the meanwhile I am suffering immensely.

I am a 20 yr old female.I have been having moderate back pain when I wake up for about a month.It had become more painful within the last week to the point where I need to just take a few moments to come to myself,then as I walked around it would basically go away.About 3-4 days ago I had some pretty serious abdominal pains and nausea.I went to the ER.Blood samples/urine tests all came back normal.The doctor said I might have had a intolerance to something I ate or possibly polycystic ovaries (I have had trouble with my ovaries before with cysts not bursting when they are supposed to,and got bigger.When they did burst it was INCREDIBLY painful.I went the the ER back then not knowing what was wrong.That was about 4 years ago).
The Dr. ordered a ultrasound.It was 2 days away.She sent me home for the night.In between the time I waited the back pain became VERY INTENSE.It felt like someone was punching/kicking me in the back.Stomach cramps were also present.I think the pain was more intense after everytime I tried to eat.The Nausea was also incredibly strong.I had to force myself to vomit 2 times since then.I have had fatigue and MAYBE 1 or 2 slight headaches.I remembered the day before the visit to the ER I had a bowel movement with alot of bright red blood,and blot clots in there.I forgot to mention this to the ER because I thought it was just my hemorrhoids,as I have had this happen before.Before I had the ultrasound done,that day I had another bowel movement (which I was surprised because I hadn’t really eaten anything within those 2 days because of the nausea/pain.It smelled very bad and there was again,alot of blood.I am certain it was from my rectum.I mentioned this to the person who did the ultrasound but have still gotten no word what the result was.Also the ultrasound was done on my ovaries.I suspect I may have some form of an ulcer because ulcers run all in my family (grand dad,dad,mom etc.).My family has also felt kind of sick with stomach pains,they suggest that maybe I have a bit of a virus with a ulcer acting up.PLEASE HELP ME.I am truly suffering this as the back pain never goes away.I finally filled out a prescription that was given to me for nausea today.It helped ALOT.I ate.But after I ate…the strong pain was back,although I admit that the pains have been fluctuating in severity,and not as strong as when the back pains were first REALLY felt.

There is NO chance I am pregnant and also my last period ended around the 3rd or 4th of Apr.If ANYONE has any idea what is going on,PLEASE help.Thank you in advance and God bless you all.

working mom with disabled husband has been stricken with pancreatic cancer that has spread to colon. she has no sick days from work – husband gets ssi and is not able to work. she has no health benefits from her job but is receiving Cobra – which is not enough for her chemo and radiation. please if someone knows of a means of help, please answer.

Back in July I had a few cases of rectal bleeding after a bowel movement. Two were days apart and the other occurred a couple of weeks after the first. I did not experience any pain or anything, just a toilet full of bright red blood with large clots that I only discovered after I started wiping. I have regular constipation so I assumed it was hemorrhoids or something. It was a lot of blood each time, enough to fill the toilet. I went to see a colorectal surgeon in August and she looked up inside but didn’t find anything.

It’s been almost two months since my last experience, but today I discovered another toilet full of blood after an easy bowel movement. I wasn’t constipated or anything and it came out relatively easy with not too much hard pushing, even though I hadn’t had a bowel movement in a while. But there was still enough blood in the toilet that it colored the water red, and it was VERY brightly colored, almost pink, with clots. Afterward, now I am feeling some lower pain in my back. However, there was no pain when I passed the bloody stool. Again, there was a LOT of blood in the toilet.

I am starting to really worry about rectal cancer. Can anyone tell me what it might be? I am going to call that surgeon again and schedule a colonoscopy, but in the meantime I am so worried that I feel like crying. What am I going to do if they can’t get me in right away? I don’t have colon cancer in my family, but I am still really really worried. Can anyone help?

I have tried all of the over the counter remedies from gas x to phase x, vinegar & syrup to pepto bismol, milk of magnesia and all kinds of parasite destroyer tablets. Nothing works, doctors ran all of the test and nothing is blocking colon or disease diagnosed. I do not know what to do to stop this from happening.

I was searching around on google and it said a few different things.
My first question, can endometriosis cause rectal pain? And if it does, does the endo have to be on the rectum for it to be painful or can it be on the tissue aroun it?

It also said sometimes your uterus can lay on your rectum and sometimes it said you can have an enlarged uterus causing the pain. Almost everythin the treatment was a hysterectomy or some pretty potent narcotics. I also have really awful kidney pain during menstruation.
I’d really like to avoid a hysterectomy or even a partial hysterectomy because I’m only 18 and dream of having a family everyday. I guess this just really scared me. I also would prefer not to be on narcotics for extende amounts of time.
I’ve tried birth control and it made the pain stop but i really hated te side affects. But would be willing(I guess) to go back on it for a while.
I know I need to get to yhe doctor, I’m trying to just at te moment can’t.

And also, I have kidney stones and IBS and I know I’m being hopeful but is it possible my symptoms are just from that and not endo?

I’m confused.. are their pills that you take for this? And if so, what are the best kind and where would you get them? I read that a colon cleanse (and other cleanses) are extremely beneficial to your health in many ways.

since then, after the radiation, I have had 2 major surgerys to my lower body, abdomen, and rectal area. this pain in my legs, jumps back and forth, from one leg to the next, and almost always, ends up solely, in the left leg, and around the knee cap, above the knee, down in the calf of my leg, and the upper thigh. This pain wakes me at night, and unless I stay on pain meds, I cannot get thru a day to good. The doctors, do not know what is causing it, I have had scans, MRI, xrays, ect. Now , they are telling me, I must have Chronic Nerve damage, possible coming from the pevic area. They want to send me to a pain managemant clinc. I am not sure what a pain management clinic can do? I’ve been having strong B.H contractions and period like pains in my abdomen and achy back.
Its painful but mild.
Now, whenever this happens, my vaginal and rectal areas hurt.
The rectal area hurts like I have to go to the bathroom.
Vaginal area hurts like its sore.

I leaked "something" this morning and my doctor tested it. She says it wasn’t amnionic fluid or urine. She thinks I’m in early labor and I’m 2cm dilated.
She thinks the clear/pale pink fluid could be my mucus plug etc.

Either way, I am at home right now and I’m experiencing these pains.

Have you ever had rectal and vaginal pain during these early labor contractions?

I have a condition that after two or three days I have no movement without a stimulation, I t works, but I have pain and rectal bleeding. Then it goes away and starts again after a few weeks. The oproctologist gave me a suppository, CANASA, but I still suffer. Can you recommend ?

If I insert my finger into my anus inside it touches something spongey. Is this normal?

I’m not in pain, but it doesn’t feel normal. I’ve never really inserted my finger in my hole before, so I’m not sure how long it’s been like this.

After seven abdominal surgeries one of which was a hysterectomy and one to remove the sigmoid colon I have been diagnosed with pelvic adhesive disease and am on morphine for the pain around the clock my colon seems to be causing the pain. I don’t eat much, etc. Medical options are implanted morphine pump or a colostemy which may or may not help the problem. I would appreciate any input.

Ok,I don’t mean to be graphic but here goes……the past few days when I have a bowel movement it hurts a little,then there is a dull achey pain in my rectal area for hours. No blood. I also feel a little bloated and very "gassy"…..my stomach is "grumbling" all the time. Does anyone have any advice? It’s kind of scaring me…….like I said,there is no blood,just pain and a lot of gas? Thank you.

The scar tissue is growing back and attaching to my intestines and now I have severe pain with this and my doctor has no idea what to do next except to send me to a different hospital.After each surgery it seems better but this time it has grown back in less than a month.

Hello, I’ve had rectal bleeding now for about 9 months to a year. Sometimes black and sometimes red. I was really nervous about it so I went for a colanoscopy and endoscopy. The pictures I recieved from the doc show inflamation in the large intestine and heavy inflamation going in the small intestine (ellium) I thought it was crohns for sure but they tested 2 biopsy results came back negative for anything including colitis, cancer, crohns. The endoscopy showed extreame inflamation entering the duodenum from the stomach kind of resembling serious gastritis but no ulcer. I’m not settled at all. I test my stool with hemocult strips and know there is blood every so often. Mostly black which may be the gastritis but what can explain the kinda bright red? No hemmeroids!!! Well I dont know. It’s just kina weird concidering I havnt ate anything red in over 3 days and have frequent diarreah. Also had a ct scan which showed nothing abnormal. I’ve lost 40 lbs in 2 months and doubt its from straight stress. Nobody knows they’re body better than themselves and I know I’m not right.

Or does the disease really not produce severe pain until it is in its most advanced stages when all treatments have been stopped and hospice called in?
