Is that attributed to poor diet?

I had a bowel prep for a colonoscopy and my stool came back clear, however when i had the colonoscopy there was a lot of semi-liquid stool in the ascending colon and the cecum. Do you have any thoughts on what this could mean?

Is It really that important, could I die from a horrifying disease. I really just want to exercise be healthy, And take my supplements. I can’t imagine having to take this kind of shit every year.

When I DID have insurance, I asked for one and my doctor said no. She wouldn’t even examine my colon maybe because I don’t fall into the stereotype of the older male patient who get VIP treatment.

Anyway, lately I see little drops of blood from my behind and things just don’t feel right back there, plus I have a family history of colon cancer. I currently no longer have health insurance. Can I just walk into a hospital and request a colon cleanse and if so how much out of pocket would it cost?

I woke up and felt this intense pain coming from my stomach so i walk in the bathroom and found out my period has started, but this one hurts really bad, i’m naturally heavy. Anyway i went to reach for some tissue with my right hand and this bloating pain washed over my lower side of the stomach. I don’t know whats going on with me but anybody please tell me what’s going on.

i am about 5 feet 2 inches and weight about 126 pounds
My weight is ditributed mostly in my hips and my breasts so i dont really look overweight i am just curvy and big breasted
i have a little stomach fat but not enough to bother me
i enjoy staying active i play sports and do things outside like ride a bike but only exercise to exercise sporadically or start and never continue for more than maybe 2 weeks
i am not a picky eater and eat what i want but its mostly healthy and blanaced i have tried losing weight and i have slimmed down a little but never gotten to a point that was really dramatic or stayed there for a while
my goal is to be about 110 and my doctor says that would be a nice weight for my height so i would love to lose about 15 pounds
i just read and watched news clips all about colon cleansing and acia berry and read this womans story about how she used both pills and lost 41 pounds in 2 months
aside from losign weight i thing detoxing our bodies is a helthy thing to do and the weight loss would be a plus but i know ppl use them who want to lose a ton of weight from a pregnancy or soemthing
i was wondering if i could do the same thing but in smaller doses and how i would calculate it please help
doctors reccomendations would be appreciated also
thanks!
i have heard about this new free trial
but is it so new that i have to use this?
or can i still buy it otc

My cat seems happy, she’s13 years old, she vomits and has bloody stools all the time. She will just go anywhere in the house, including my pillow. She will be fine and all of a sudden she’s straining in the middle of the kitchen floor. She’s now starting to urinate too all over my furniture. I don’t know what to do and have taken her to the vets and her blood work and stools are normal. The next step would be to do a biopsy of her colon and I don’t want to spend that kind of money on a 13 year old cat. What can I do?

Are you suppose to take 6 caplets , 3 TIMES a day.
18 caplets a day. or 6 caplets 1 day

I know that holding in your urine when you don’t really need to is bad for you, but just how bad? Will it cause colon cancer/kidney disease?

Okay, now before I ask this, please be warned that it’s pretty graphic, so skip over this question if you’re sensitive about that kind of thing.

I have had chronic constipation for the past 2 years. I’ve been to the doctor about it (about a year and 1/2 ago), and what she recommended was to up my fiber level. I’ve done that. I get between 35 and 50 grams of fiber per day. I also drink a lot of water (with that fiber level you really need to). I’m also very active, which they say aids in the relief of constipation.

Upping the fiber level has helped (If I lower it back down I cannot go at all). I used to go to the bathroom twice per week, and it wasn’t easy to do so. Now, I’m not 100% constipated. I go to the bathroom pretty much every day. However, they’re small, hard pieces that sometimes pass easily, and sometimes don’t. Occasionally I will have a normal bowel movement, but this doesn’t happen that often. According to the doctor, this still is in the constipation category.

Back in September I had two incidents of pretty significant rectal bleeding. When it first happened I was a few hundred miles from home and it was on a Sunday so I just ignored it in the hopes that it wouldn’t happen again. Well, it happened again the next day at work. I of course left and went to the doctor. She did some test where she had to… uh…explore that area. The tests came back that there was nothing wrong. She said it may have just been an internal hemorrhoid that burst. I was told to contact her if it happened again. It has not happened since.

In the months since this, I’ve had a handful of incidents where there was mucus with my stool. Sometimes it’s all white, but sometimes there’s a small amount of blood in it. Also, occasionally there’s a small amount of blood in the stool itself, but no mucus.

Today (now this is really gross, I apologize) I passed gas and a little mucus came out. It was accompanied by a bit of blood. It’s really concerning to me. Is this in any way normal?

I’m just so frustrated that the doctor can’t find anything wrong with me. According to her, I’m doing everything right in regards to relieving the constipation. So why on earth is this still an issue?? I’ve researched all sorts of other ways to relieve it, but none of them are effective. The use of laxatives can actually make my situation worse. So all I’m left with is frustration and concern that there’s something more serious going on.

I plan on contacting my doctor again, but since it’s Saturday, I can’t do that until Monday. I know it’s probably a long shot, but I was hoping maybe someone would have some idea of what could possibly be going on with me.

Oh, by the way…I’m 27 years old so it’s not as if my age is a factor in this. I know sometimes people who are getting older can run into problems with constipation.

Thank you for any advice, insight, or suggestions you might have.
It was just a rectal exam.

Hi. I am 23, female. Healthy height and weight. Sorry this question sounds disgusting but it’s very serious

OK. When I have a bowel movement, there is so much blood. This has been going on some months. I got worried and I was sick so I had a colonoscopy done about 2 weeks ago. The colonoscopy was fine and they said there were no polyps or anything. But the bleeding won’t stop. Now in fact it is 10 times worse. Literally the toilet will be filled with blood.

I started taking fiber but that hasn’t helped. I eat healthy. I reduced meat to once a week and only a very little. I eat fruits and veggies every day, really barely any dairy products. Lots of water and no soda. I never drink or smoke.

The weird thing is that there is really no pain when I use the restroom or anything. I have had terrible hemmroids before, and there is no pain like that.

Should I be worried now? Is this common after colonoscopy?

it may be called hersh bronx disease

Most things I’ve read online speak only about stenting nearer the rectum or on the left side of the large intestine, but can it be done with a colonoscope for the right side?

Also, does anyone know if an NG tube would still be used on a patient with a partial bowel obstruction if it was determined that a stent was going to be placed? Would the NG tube be used to clear things out in preparation for the procedure?

I’m 19 yrs old, and I’ve been having every symptom to colon cancer except for the migraines. I currently have hemorrhoids but before I had that, I was constipated and the pressure in my lower back was intense (still is). I always thought that you only got constipated from not drinking enough water, and all I drink is water so I don’t see why I’d be constipated. I also have a lot of pelvic pains and I’ll sometimes have bloody discharge from my vagina. I went to the hospital once and they let me go saying I didn’t have anything at all, but I insist that I do.

Tuesday evening I was sick with a stomach virus. I was vomiting and had diarrhea. I slept through the night and felt better the next morning although I still had diarrhea. Over that Wednesday and Thursday I felt better but Friday the vomiting and diarrhea came back full force. I again handled it and come Saturday felt better. Sunday though it all came back and I decided to go to the ER. They drew blood and took X-Rays. They admitted me with an ileus (a type of bowel obstruction caused by dehydration). I spent the night at the hospital with constant fluids being given to me through an IV. The next morning the diarrhea started to dissipate and the vomiting was gone. I was discharged and told to rest and take it easy for a few days. Now today I feel better. The diarrhea is gone but I’m a bit constipated. No vomiting. I have a sharp pain in my right side at the ascending colon that comes and goes. It seems to feel better if I change positions. I’m guessing it’s due to my week filled with abdominal stress but I’m also worried about the possibility of colon cancer or something. Woudn’t they have been able to see a tumor or blockage with the X-Ray. I have no blood either in my stool. In the hospital I was given red jello which a few hours later my stool was orange looking. The doctor didn’t think it was anything to worry about and all my stools since then have been normal in color. Wow personal. Anyways since leaving the hospital I’ve been staying hydrated and I’m wondering if maybe I’m upsetting my colon by not eating enough. In the past day I’ve had a few crackers and a very small meal. I’ve drank 2 sprites, an apple juice, 3 powerades, and some tea as well as three bags of the IV fluid pumped into me. My only symptom is the slight pain in my side so I’m not thinking colon cancer. Could I just be depriving myself of the foods I need. Any advice would be nice. Just wondering if anybody else has had this problem and if anybody knows if a tumor would’ve been noticeable on an X-Ray in the colon.

Thought I had a hernia, but CT scan showed bleeding in the colon and anemia. More tests in a week… Doc said maybe Crohns disease, but I don’t seem to have the classic symptoms. Could this be a lot worse?

Is it normal for my poop to be green and have the consistency of lemonade? Why is it like this?

She complained about this pain 1 month ago, telling me she had pain suddenly while she wus walking, she thout its just a pain so will get okay, she ignored if for one month long, now it has gone so bad, she cant sit when the pain is worst, for the pain the doc got the xray done, but it was clear, she has worst pain in her lower back middle just above her tail region. Sometimes its very much sometimes its not tat bad, she has been given Nise, aciloc, rantac and such medications because she complained about Pain in her Transverse colon also, in front, probably due to gas, but at present day, the medicines are not effective, when she was in her 8th grade , presently in college, she tells tat she had fallen on her back from her House Roof and didnt tell anyone about the injury. some of the doc said its the same injury that has come out again.

m very much worried about her health, kindly help what could be the reason of her pain not getting okay.

will she ever get okay?

Thankyou! =(

I am trying to get the courage up to make appt. for colonoscopy, my nerves have the best of me right now and I am so scared they are going to tell me I have let it go for too long. I am 33. need words of encouragement or something. I know no one on here can tell me whats wrong, but I need some help. I have heard that people who let rectal bleeding go for years are the ones who generally have colon cancer. i have had blood in stool for nearly year and a half. I have gone to rectal dr, he said my rectum looked completely normal, but that doesn’t mean I have nothing serious. I am so frightened that It is consuming me.
Thank you all. Its sad i get nervous everytime I have to go to bathroom, because I just know the blood is goin to be there. Its covered, even with just a small bowel movement.
