can colon cancer symptoms occur and disappear after a few months and symptoms start again after 3 years?
i think i had colon cancer symptoms 3 years ago, symptoms like bleeding during a bowel movement, constipation, cramps, and diarrhea….i had the symptoms for a few months, so i went to the doctor and they checked my stool sample, and blood… and said that the tests came up negative…they told me to eat right and the symptoms disappeared within a couple of weeks….i was 17 years old at the time……i am 20 years old right now and i started having symptoms again….so the main question is, can colon cancer symptoms disappear and come back after a few years?

If you had colon cancer 3 years ago, you’d be dead by now without treatment. Sounds more like ibs.
Some cancer does bleed red, but more often you will see it as black and tarry. LOTS of other problems can cause those problems. You should see a gastro doctor and get checked for IBS or Crohns. You may also have some early polyps or hemorrhoids. You can develop them at any age. All of which can be treated.
Find a good Gastroenterologist and get a good in-person examination.
Are you still eating the way you were told at age 17? If not, get back on the right track and see if the symptoms change.
Cancer symptoms would not go away for 3 years and come back….they would come back sooner, and get steadily worse
