Burning Rectal Pain…Prep H doesn’t work?
I believe after research online that I have IBS. The symptoms started out as going back and forth with very soft to hard stools. Also extreme rectal burning pain that comes and goes. It is so bad sometimes I had started taking motrin, tylenol or Excedrin. I also noticed I have a small bump the size of a bebe on my rectum. Sometimes it feels like I have a cut down there and if urine hits it I want to scream it burns so bad. Lately I have been constipated and not going regularly. I have tried Preparation H but it doesn’t work at all. I don’t think I have hemorrhoids since it isn’t swollen…just the bebe size bump and feeling like a cut sometimes. Up until recently, I have never had issues with constipation and went regularly 3-4 times a day. when I wear nylons since they tighten everything up, I notice I have more problems with the pain. It isn’t non stop, but when it’s really bad I take the over the counter pain medicine that helps relieve it. I don’t have medical insurance so I can’t go to the dr. I think this pretty much covers most of it. This is obviously very embarrassing to talk about, but it is very painful sometimes and I don’t know what to do about it. Any help anyone can provide me would be so much appreciated. thank you so much!

It sounds like you have hemmoroids. Also maybe a fisher (the cut). First off stop taking tylenol and motrin as it effects the stomach lining and doesn’t help when you have IBS. Try to get exercise and drink lots of water. Keep femanine or unscented baby wipes near the toilette and use those when you wipe each time. Take a 15-30 min bath 3X daily with no bubble bath just water only. Buy some desinex which is used on diaper rash for babies and use it on your anus and the cut after cleaning thoroughly or bathing. Keep doing this for a week to 2 weeks and you will notice healing.
Good luck!

It is probably a distended hemmoroid.
you need to see a doctor to have it removed
see a Dr,i had an anal fissure, that was painful and took long to heal.
you need a Dr to either do a rectal exam or look inside, like a colonoscopy(yes, a tiny camera goes in there)-yes you are sedated!
hemorrhoids seem like part of the problem my wife had them when she was pregnant with our 2nd child the only thing that worked for her was hemroid harry silly name but a great product
This is a nasty problem to have! As others have mentioned, seeing a doctor is the best bet!
