anyone have any idea whats going on with my intestines?
about 5-6 days ago i had my hemorrhoids flare up and there was a little blood on my toilet paper and a few drops in the toilet. after the second day i used preparation H and it went away the next day however the day before it went away i started to feel slightly gassy and had some slight pain in my intestines. i still have that now. i don’t feel any different other than some gassyness and a slight burning in my colon ( it kind of blends in with gas pain). i would go to the doctor and ask but i dont have health care. i tend to worry alot about minute things but some symptoms sound like colorectal cancer. im also 20 years old have a pretty clean bill of health and im pretty sure no one in my family has had issues with this kind of cancer.
any idea what this might be?
i should also add that i dont have diarrhea and i dont think im constipated. but when i do have a movement its small.
other symptoms-
odd sharp pain near belly button
very slight burning when i urinate sometimes.
my diet usually consists of a bowl of cereal in the morning, usually a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for lunch, and just about anything for dinner. fruits and vegetables are scarce.

Your symptoms may be compatible with:
- Gatroneteritis
- Inflammatory bowel disease
Colon cancer is very very unlikely at your age.
I would recommend you wait a few days for the gassyness to go and see if your pain gets better (simple indigestion or gastro-enteritis)
If that doesnt go away and you have diarrhea or severe constipation i would recommend then to go see your doctor.
sounds like you don,t have a very healthy diet. are you eating high fiber foods, with veggies, fruit, and complex carbs? lots of water. if not, you may be suffering from diverticulitis. the hemorrhoids are usually the result of pushing too hard to pass hard stools. diverticulitis is an infection caused by food getting trapped in weak "balloons" in the intestinal wall. the little pockets get infected, and cause gas, bloating, pain, diarrhea, and possibly a stay in the hospital. happened to me out of the blue. i ended up having 19 inches of my infected colon removed.
You should juice organic veggies and fruits plus wheat grass juice.Stay away from meats,dairy,and sugary things and you will be fine.You can get stuff from the health food stores of green powders and take that also.Good luck
What’s going on is your intestines don’t like you lousy diet and they are letting you know. If you really worry easily do something about it, as you are setting yourself up to have something to truly worry about in the future.
