Because I would have really painful braxton hicks contractions, and at the same time I would always have a bowel movement, usually diarrhea. And that happened a lot once I was getting close to my due date too. That happens with my period cramps a lot of the time too. So maybe your braxton hicks contractions are making you go a lot. That probably does mean its coming soon. But there is no way of actually knowing when your baby will come. Well yesterday I found out I am dilated 2 cm, my cervix thinned and the babies head is already down. The doctor told me its going to be soon, but didn't give me a time period. A lot of people say that people can stay dilated and 2cm for weeks. I hope I go into labor soon, but what can I do. I am anxious! I am 37 wks too and have had a lot too. I am also 37 weeks, and like you I have never been the type to go everyday, but latley I am going everyday, a few times a day! I don't know if it means we are closer or not. Good LucK!
