Acai Berry/Colon Cleanse Diet?
Has anyone out there tried the acai berry & colon cleanse diet? I’m not talking about the FREE TRIAL offer you can get online or ANYTHING you have to order (and possibly get scammed with). I’m talking about, has anyone ever walked in to their local GNC or other health & nutrition stores and purchased some colon cleanse pills and acai berry extract juice and tried it to see if you’d lose weight? Did it work?
I was considering buying this 32 ounce bottle of acai berry juice that I saw at GNC and combining it with a colon cleanser I saw there. The problem is, the juice is around .00 and that’s pretty steep for me. I’d do it in a second if I honestly thought it would really work. There’s GOT TO BE someone out there who has tried doing this yourselves. I’m desperate for some serious weight loss help.

Acai berry = SCAM!!!!
forget anything to do with that overpriced over hyped lied about berry.
It has a short shelf life so unscrupulous people have turned it into an industry based on lies, fake testimonials and fake photographs.
The colon, like the body is self cleansing. All cleansers do is give holistic diarrhoea which disrupts normal flora there and depletes our electrolytes – sodium, potassium etc.
Claims of weight loss are unfounded, said the CSPI.
"There’s no evidence whatsoever to suggest that acai pills will help shed pounds, flatten tummies, cleanse colon, enhance sexual desire, or perform any of the other commonly advertised functions," according to the organization’s press release.
Acai’s popularity has surged on bogus marketing claims, said Jonny Bowden, a certified nutrition specialist and author of several health books. Acai juices sell for as much as $40 per bottle.
"The expensive acai berry is triumph of marketing over science, that’s the bottom line," Bowden said.
The only sure fire way is to change diet and lifestyle habits – just as the acai people have the cheek to tell you. You do the work, they pocket your money.
Eat local blueberries – more antioxidants (which do not aid weight loss though).
