Many contributors to Yahoo have taken acai products, none have lost weight, they have lost money.
Type in acai and scam.
Antioxidants do not aid weight loss, there are more in our own fresh fruits - like blueberries.
The colon is self cleansing. All you get is diarrhoea and it can cause vomiting, nausea and abdominal cramps. It can cause a dangerous loss of water and electrolytes, which can lead to dehydration and even abnormal heart rhythms.

If you must try acai, buy in Walmart or your local health food store. The online sites are total scams, the free sample is not free, they take credit card details, bill you for as much as $80 for postage. People have had to cancel cards to stop money being debited from their accounts.

Sounds like a fad. If you're on blood pressure meds I'd avoid anything that hasn't been proven. The colon cleans itself. You don't need a colon cleanser diet to maintain good health. A well balanced diet and plenty of water and exercise is usually enough to keep the bowels healthy and thus keep you healthy.
