Absolutely!!
Sorry, but it’s true. Look up the "sciatic nerve". It runs right through your bottom, and the baby can pinch it. It hurts.
At your stage in the game, it’s really hard to get comfortable. If it happens again try this: Get on your hands and knees like a dog. That will make the baby drop away from your spine.
Another idea is to go swimming. It helps relieve the downward pressure, and since it’s summer, it’ll feel so good!
You may also want to get some Tucks wipes and stool softener pills for after delivery. Your bottom will be quite sore.
I would think so. The baby will be pressing on all sorts of nerves as it get lower. I used to get all sorts of pains down below in the last few weeks.
It’s something they don’t tell you: a lot of women experience involuntary bowel movements because the baby pushes on that area.
Food poisoning is another common Abdominal Pain Symptoms. It is usually mild, but there are times when it is fatal. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), it is estimated that food poisoning has cased approximately 48 million illnesses, 128,000 hospitalizations and close to 3,000 deaths in United States annually.
It is true that most severe food poisoning can result in fatal consequences. However, food poisoning is usually less serious than it sounds. Most people start feeling better within one to two days even though such Abdominal Pain Symptoms may last slightly longer. Home care remedies tend to suffice most of the time, but one should always consult a physician immediately when in doubt or when the problem continues to persist!
