I have some questions bout colon cancer. How does this disease Develop? how common is this disease what possibilities are there for recovery? what treatments will be necessary and what is the survival rate for patients with this disease
or know of a healthfood store in my earea of wapaca county? i have been told this would help me in so many aspects & im so tired & run down & gaining so much weight umong other health issues & heard alot of great things about colin cleansing help !im so tired of feeling like crap!
Ok, here’s what I eat: brown rice with flax, grapefruit, apples, plums, cherries, grapes, cantaloupe, watermelon, swiss chard, broccoli, carrots, bell peppers, onions, summer squash, tomatoes, spinach, hemp protein powder… I suffer from constipation, food sensitivities (gluten, soy, corn, nuts and seeds) and a continually bloated abdomen which is NOT ok because I model. I had a colonoscopy and was found to have a beautiful colon (I know, what?! gross) but a slow one. I don’t want to go on meds. What can I do? I drink plenty of water, only two cups of yerba mate a day, no salt. I exercise. I’ve started with some digestive enzymes, but I don’t know what else will help. Should I add egg whites back in the diet and try to cut back on some of my fiber? I don’t know if I could do it. Please please please help me.
Through detox or other. And not just to pass a drug test or something, to really cleanse out my body, colon, kidneys, liver…etc.
What about colon cleanses, or cholonix, or fasting?
Which of the following is the most direct result of the presence of acid chyme in the small intestine?
A. The liver produces insulin.
B. The pancreas produces hydrolytic enzymes.
C. The stomach produces pepsin.
and Why?
D. The intestinal lining produces the hormone secretin.
E. The gall bladder releases bile.
I now have to get a colonoscopy… I know that it is a procedure that they probably do not allow a family member to watch. However, my sister was wanting to be in the room with me, and i would i also like it if she were there… From personal experience, does anyone know if this is possible? Thanks
She seems to get bloated a lot and she doesn’t have a bowel movement everyday. And when she does, they smell abnormally bad and I’m afraid her digestive tract may be backed up.
I want to put her on a high fiber diet to get it moving.
Any suggestions on some high fiber foods I can regularly implement or any child friendly ‘digestive tract cleansing’ supplements?
Thanks!
PS. Please only give suggestions other than "bring her to the doctor"
She is already going today. But I wanted to hear some first hand knowledge/suggestions from other moms and dads as well.
Thanks!

KENNEWICK, Wash. (AP) – A Tri-Cities health board reversed itself Wednesday and voted against endorsing a colon cancer awareness campaign that uses billboards saying, "What’s up your butt?"
The Tri-City Herald reports the Benton Franklin Health District commissioners responded to complaints the ads are in poor taste.
The butt billboards have been displayed in Yakima to raise colorectal cancer awareness and encourage people to get screened for the disease.
You know, the one form Oprah and Dr. Oz, and where ever else its shown up at. I want to know a few things;
1. Does it actually work?
2. I never actually read the articles, but I caught wind that it is bad for long term use. True or false?
3. Is it okay to use to jump start a diet? I read, I believe it was a News 6 article, of a woman who lost 25 pounds in 4 weeks. If it can do that, then that’s just the motivation I need. After the 25 pounds, I’ll be off it and on to the normal healthy stuff like I want.
4. Where can I find it without ordering it online? Come on, I’m 18, I’m at my last year in high school, I still live with my parents (who are a few of the last people I want to know what I’m trying to do) and I don’t exactly have a bank account or whatever. BUT I do have a job, lol. So, would the products be easy to find in a store? Like, there’s one in the mall full of weird health supplements and stuff. Maybe?
5. What exactly is the RIGHT products for this? I’ve heard of ColoClean, Colon Cleanse, Acai Fit, Acai… something I can’t remember. What EXACTLY is the right products for this new hype?
Mind you, if it is actually unhealthy for long term uses, I just need the 25 in 4 and I’m calling it quits for sure. Even if it was okay for long term use, I’d still call it quits. So, no speeches and lectures are nessecary. Pleeeease ^-^

Do you go to the bathroom a lot? Cause I’m worried about having to go while I’m at work (Hostess at a restaurant)
But I really want to ‘detox’.
Hi,
I been experiencing lot’s of pain in my uterus,I have the IUD for six months now.but lately I have been having pain on my uterus and a lot of rectal pressure, also when I try to use the bathroom due to the rectal pressure it hurts a lot like these sharp pain like if something is coming out but nothing…sorry guys….also this month I haven’t had my period I’m 12 days late.I don’t think I’m pregnant since I don’t have any symptoms..
please someone tell what I should do,and tell me if this is normal.I feel more pain now than when I got inserted the IUD..
I have a jack russell terrier pug mix. We had her to the vet the end of February to get her vaccines and then took her 3 days later to get her teeth cleaned. They ended up pulling one of her teeth but they gave her an antibiotic so she wouldn’t get an infection. She was pretty groggy they day of the cleaning and most of the following day. Then she started throwing up her food and drink. We took her back to the vet and they gave us Centrine to settle her stomach down and the vet told us to put her on a white rice and chicken diet (blan). She started eating and drinking again and was able to keep her food down but she started throwing up this mucus. But she doesn’t do this everyday some days she acts completely normal and the next she is back to throwing up. So we took her back to the vet and got xrays done to make sure that she didn’t have a blockage and the only thing the vet found from the xray was she had a gas build up in her small intestines. So he said she had acid reflux and to give her a 1/2 tablet of Pepcid and 1 tablespoon yogurt before bed. So we did this and she took the 1/2 tablet of Pepcid but wouldn’t touch her food or drink. Then we gave her the tablespoon of yogurt before bed and she threw up about a half hour later. Called the vet the next morning and he told us to stop the Pepcid and the yogurt that he thinks instead of her throwing up and heaving that she is coughing up this mucus. He then said she might have a little bit of a sinus drip and just to continue on with the Centrine. She went Wednesday, Thursday and Friday no problems back to her full of energy self. Then this morning when I woke I seen 7 piles of this mucus she has been throwing up. She is on the way to the vet again but has anything similar happen to anyone else?
We have another dog and he is fine no problems with him but he is much bigger then she is. She is only a little over 4 years old and has never had any health problems before. She weighs about 17 pounds. The vet said no infection from where the tooth was pulled either. Just curious to see if anyone else had a problem similar to this.
My mother had Stage 3 Uterine Cancer, which she had a total hysterectomy and all organs were removed in October, and she finished her last chemo on April 29th, but just this week was back in hospital for partial lower bowel obstruction and fluid build up in abdomen, especially around liver.
The good thing is they drained the fluid and the obstruction was not large, but I was wondering if all this could be a way her body is trying to rid itself of toxins from radiation and chemo. She is feeling weak, so I was wondering about any good regimens for helping her to cleanse her system and detox to get stronger and get rid of the toxins?
I already found out about Milk Thistle and Dandelion for the liver, so if any other remedies are known please share!!
Thanks so much.
-Every few months after I go to the bathroom (aka #2) there is bright red blood on the toilet tissue and in the toilet.
-This only happens once within a span of weeks-months but usually recurs.
-It hasn’t happened in a few weeks.
There’s this girl i like in one of my college classes.
when the class takes tests I get loud IBS that can be heard.
she sits right behind me. I get embarrassed when she hears me because it’s like a fart that can’t be smelled, but definitely heard.
do you think she will think bad about me with my gas problems?
I would definitely date someone with IBS! actually i would prefer it because then we would be able to understand each other and work together to solve the issue.
I’m trying to get a good colon cleanser and I’ve heard some good comments about this one, so please tell me what do You think?
i get nauseous regularly, maybe a couple days a week ill have a few minute phase and then it goes away [almost always at night.] this has been happening since i last vomited in june, before i didnt have that feeling [i think its partially due to the fact that i am severely afraid of throwing up.] i also have extremely varying stools, maybe once a month ill try to go to the bathroom and a bit of mucus comes out instead, and once or twice before ive had pencil stools. andd other than that i get different [but considered normal] stools, and my diet is diverse so im pretty sure thats why. i dont bleed when i go to the bathroom nor is it painful.my grandfather had colon cancer but he was a heavy drinker/smoker. im 14, female, and have had my period for 2.5 years. im a vegetarian and i dance about 10 hours a week, though i got a fracture one month ago so i havent been able to properly exercise since then. i know that its rare for young people but the awkward stools/nausea for the past few months has started to worry me. thank you for any advice i really appreciate it, i dont want to get a colonoscopy or something :/
Recently I’ve been having bowel movements every morning but the stools are thinner than they used to be, not too much comes out and I haven’t been had an "s" shaped bowel movement in awhile. I don’t have much stomach pain, just some aches every now and then. I bled once about a few months ago when i had a bowel movement and i was worried then. I’m worried again in regards to colon cancer. I am 19 years old and wondering why my stool is thinner and smaller..does that mean colon cancer??
*NOT GETTING ANY ANSWERS IN PREGNANCY* MAYBE YOU EXPERIENCED IT?
This is my 3rd child -but first experience with these pains, except when I had back labor with my daughter (but that was 42 weeks) and it was real labor.
So on Sat. about 9am until about 3am I had Lower back ache, pain in my thighs and pressure in my rectal/vaginal area (sorry tmi){and I’m not constipated just in case you were thinking that}… the only way I can think to explain it is feeling bruised, like I was riding a bike, slipped and hit the bar. I’ve also been having braxton hicks for weeks and shooting pain in my cervix area(they don’t have a pattern) and didn’t have a pattern on Saturday either. This is painful but not excruciating like the first time.
So what I summed it up to be:
-Baby dropping?
-Normal aches, just never had them before?
-Baby pressing on nerves maybe?
Anyone had this too? Does it sound about right what I summed it up to be? Or what did your DR/Midwives say, something else?
No bleeding, breaking waters ect. if that happens I know, call the midwife… I just don’t want to call for every pregnancy ache and pain that could be common- that’s why I’d check here for similar experiences. (I still have pain but not as bad as Saturday)-
Was it normal or did you go into true labor shortly after?
I’m 20 years old, male from Toronto Canada.
I’ve grown up not necessarily the most healthy active young man but towards the last 5 years of my life I took up running, bmxing ect.. all kinds of sports. I’ve started to eat consciously to what I’m putting into my body.
September 2010, I was 6’4", and healthy for my weight, 145lbs.
As of recently, I have lost 10 pounds without change to my diet or lifestyle.
More recently than the weight loss, I’ve lost my appetite, which usually was quite ferocious.
My bowl movements have changed severely, now more rapid and frequent. Also discolored, thinner and less consistent. This is accompanied by pains in my abdominal region, aches, cramps, and more gas than usual for me, a lot more. Often I find myself keeling over at work or school and feeling as if there was broken glass inside my digestive track. Before this came and passed a day here and there, now it’s daily, some hours go by without a sign, but most days are a frequent discomfort.
In the last 3 years I have had traces of blood in my stool roughly 3 times.
Also I’ve had trouble sleeping, and when I do sleep, I still never feel rested.
I’m wondering if this seems to be like signs of Colon Cancer? My grandfathers both have passed away from what began as Colon Cancer..
I do intend to not monkey around and go see my Doctor soon but.. I’m just wondering what the general consensus is about this? If it sounds like I’m just recovering from some bug or if this seems like something to be worried about.. I’ve never heard of a 20 yearold with such Cancer.
