I am 13. I find it hard to believe, but I am 150 pounds and need to get weight loss going.
Can you please help with a diet?
My husband has been having severe abdominal pain. CT ruled out kidney stone, masses, blocked bowel, but the report says there are two loops of small intestine that are thickened. The doctor put him on antibiotics for inflammation, and we go back in 2 weeks, but I am worried about this being something serious.
After I had a sigmoidoscopy, my taint became red and irritated. I noticed that it began when i had to cleanse [drink magnesium citrate/fleet enema] the night before it. It’s been five days and I notice if I have to spread my legs it kinda hurts. I’ve been tested for everything and came out clean. I haven’t been sexually active since May [and got tested after it]. So, is it from the massive amount of bowel movement I passed due to the citrate?
I am 35 weeks pregnant, today I awoke with moderate to severe abdominal pain (across the belly button area). It comes and goes, but when it does come it is extremely painful (hard to walk or talk through the pain). Today I also had some blood in my stool, and then later, just blood when I wiped (from the rectum area though). I started having contractions every five minutes which made the pain severe, but the contractions went away, no are only sporadic. I did see the Dr today, and they are unsure what is going on, they said it doesn’t sound like anything for an emergency, but if it persists, will recommend me to a GI specialist. Any ideas or similar experiences?
and how many accounts have answered with this
I have no family history of it but I do have a possible symptom..i was just curious if anyone knew
I heard about this is it true? can someone really have pounds of waste inside them?
i was told that i need to cleanse my insides and i could use something over the counter, but im stuck on whats the difference b/w the 3 and what products really work.
My colorectal nurse has been so so helpful, and has been so supportive in so many ways. I’ve now finished all treatment and operations, and was wondering what can I buy her as a thank you gift?
Nothing too personal, or inappropriate, but something more than a box of chocolates!
I have heard that cleansing your colon could reduce many everyday ailments( headaches, fatigue, etc). My question is
can this be done only by those products(pills) that are on the market or can it be done through diet? Is there something that can be added to foods to help with removing all of the yuck?
read a lot online about women experiencing diarrhea before they went into labor. well when i got up this morning and used the bathroom it was soft stool and a lot of it. i haven’t had a bowel movement in about a week and ever since i began pregnancy it had always been the hard balls (lol TMI i know) i was wondering if this is my bodies way of cleansing itself compared to other women who experienced diarrhea? any experiences to share? how long after did you go into labor? i am 39 weeks
If feces move up the ascending colon and if I bother it by pressing on it, will gravity pull the food down to the cecum base and into the appendix opening? Will this cause appendicitis?
Does it work for those whom had tried it before? I am curious….But if not then what about any of cleansing colon product, and what was their side effects on ya?
I am 13 weeks 4 days, just entered my second trimester. Tonight my boyfriend and I were naughty and ate a heavy, greasy, fried, bad for us dinner (which I usually do not do). A little while after wards I had a huge gas bubble that moved from my stomach into my bowels where it just stayed and grew and began to hurt so bad I could hardly walk. I went to the bathroom (pee first) and it seemed to make it worse, then I went to the bathroom again (poo) and it was significantly better, but still slightly present. I’m just curious if this is normal or if it is something to worry about. I feel I worry too much so if I don’t need to worry please let me know! I could use some positivity. Thanks!!
I am almost always constipated, and I don’t take dumps everyday. I’ve been like that since I was born? Will I get colon/other health problems in the future?
My hubby just had colon surgery and Doc says he has to eat a low fiber diet for 2 weeks. I know that raw fruits and vegies are a no-no. Only canned and cooked. What kind of meats, cereals, breads, etc can he eat? Can he have eggbeaters? He has high cholesterol, and doesn’t like alot of sugar. He needs variety. I’m also concerned that he gets proper nutrition until he can go back to his regular high fiber diet. Any suggestions, ideas, or sites where I can get recipes would be very helpful and greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I’ve had quite extensive testing –everything short of a colonoscopy– to try to diagnose the cause of persistent abdominal pain that started just under my right ribcage and radiating toward my back.
Sometimes there’s nausea and pain is more diffuse throughout my abdomen. I’ve had an ultrasound, abdominal CT scan, an upper endoscopy, blood tests, fecal blood tests, and a HIDA scan for the gallbladder. All normal.
At my wit’s end. I’m wondering if it’s something like Colon cancer or inflammatory bowel disease, which I understand from my research requires a colonoscopy to accurately diagnoses. Yet when I bring this point up to my doctor and to my gastroenterologist, they feel the test is unnecessary given the CT scan and other tests already done.
Who is right?
It usually affects him in the mornings and we know its probably to do with the stuff he eats on the previous day… I was just wondering what foods are most likely to do him harm.
My mom got gastric bypass and they nicked her intestines and didn’t realize it. Well the next day she got very sick and went into sepsis. She has been in ICU now for 22 days and is still running a fever and is still asleep. They have "cleaned" her out 8 times now. I wonder if she will ever get better and if she does, how long is it gonna take?
like the isagenix isaflish pills? do they work they same? are they just as bad?
