which is best a colon cleanse or colon hydrotherapy?
and how is hydrotherapy different from an enema?
doesnt a diet tea do almost the same? does anyone know by experience? I do know that a colon cleanse and/or colon hydrotherapy are suppose to clean your system from waste but which is best? I would like to try it out but would like some more info if anyone out there has tried it would help thanks. also I have tried diet teas which make me go to the bathroom a few hours later (I dont go often) but dont think it does what the cleaners can. thanks for any info

I am 15 years old, and need to know about a natural bowel cleansing idea.

I have a bad stomach/intestines. I have gastritis, inflammation of my colon, erosion, and ‘white scarring,’and pain, and no prescribed medicine has treated any of these symptoms. I used to have to get an endo- and colonoscopy monthly to check up on my backed up bowels and etc. Since then, I haven’t been able to use any laxative to help clean me out.

There is a gross tasting lemon-like formula available at a pharmacy or store, I think it’s liquid magnesium, the doctor made me drink two bottles of it before the procedure, and it made stool liquid until it was gone…but I think I had to take a pill with it, and I don’t know where to get the liquid, and if I have to be a certain age. Now I obv. can’t get the pill because I don’t see the doc. anymore.

Is there any liquid or pill that I can take available to 15 year olds to help cleanse my bowels in the span of 1 to 2 days w/ fasting? (Not a continual med.)
The reason I want to know is because although there is no discomfort, I have "constipation," I only go to the bathroom a couple times a week. And I like the feeling of being clean, my intestines feel nice, haha. But also, my Mom thinks what I want to do is gross…so I need alternative help or recommendations!
I have a gastroenterolgoist, but she isn’t very experienced. And, she no longer wants to see me because she thinks it’s rheumatology/immunology related. I can’t get another one, there is none close. I don’t have a good doctor, so I can’t get far there….I wish I was older so I could drive where I needed to and fend for myself! Once I’m 16 or 17 I will deff. look for new doctors. Thankyou for your concern and answers. Unfortunately, I guess I probably won’t be able to cleanse my bowels on my own :/

Is the only way to diagnose IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) with a endoscopy or colonoscopy?

Has anyone gotten medication for IBS without an edoscopy or colonoscopy?

I have a referral to a GI but I do not want to go if I know for sure the only way to diagnose my IBS is with an endoscopy or colonoscopy.

I’d like to loose 50 lbs, tried diets, tried eating healthier with eating fruits and veggies. I’ve tried eating smaller meals and even walking 8 miles a day…it just doesn’t work.
I figure this acai berry and colon cleanse might do the trick.
Of corse it was around for both things if the trial offer but I’d like to know how much it really is after the trial. I really don’t have the money to spend 0 on it right now and I was wondering if anyone knew.

I have heard that colon cleansing can help improve my health and wellbeing

I’m in my mid 30′s and I want to feel healthier.

My mom is 58 years old, she had colon cancer 8 years ago, she was clear for 7 years and in the last year has had a tumor form in her pelvis and spots on her lungs, both biopsied and results showed the same as her colon cancer. Yesterday she was diagnosed by x-ray of having stomache cancer, no biopsy yet to see if it is the same cancer, but assuming it is what is her chances of survival? She has lost 75 pounds in a year, 25 or more in the last 2 weeks while hospitalized. She has needed a blood transfusion, and went into renal failure 2 weeks ago. (she only has one kidney) She cannot eat solid foods, she will vomit, she has no appetite and is nautious all the time even with anti nausea meds. She is in extreme pain some days. The other night they maxed her out on narcotics, couldnt give her anymore without it being unsafe.
also she has had a colostomy bag for the past year because of the pelvic tumor.
so how bad does this sound and what is her treatment options and chances?

im really scared i read Colorectal cancer happens to ppl of age 50 and im only 15..

What can I eat and/or drink to clean my stomach and intestines? Something that will clean everything that’s there (basically to clean all the junk that could be in my system (from eating out, unhealthy foods, oils, etc…. )) Please note that I do not want to buy any supplement gimmicks, just natural foods that can help (green tea, fiber,…..)

I have been having pain around my rectal area for the past few days. At first I thought that it might be hemorrhoids that I caught early, as there was nothing protruding from the rectum. So I bought hemorrhoidal suppositories and external creme and have been using it. This morning I felt a lot better, but then as the day went on and I went to work and stood for a long period of time the pain worsened. It feels more like my anal cavity is bruised. I am not sure if it is hemorrhoids, or if it could be something else. I’m sorry if I have given too much information, I don’t want to gross anyone out.
I really appreciate all of your help. I have not had any bleeding. However, doesn’t a rectal exam hurt?

Why do we refer to the colon, rectum and anus collectively as the “large intestine” when it is only 1.5 meters long but we call the duodenum, jejunum and ileum collectively as the “small intestine” when it is 6 meters long?

I recently read a book about bowel cleansing and how it can affect your entire health. Having a not so healthy or compacted bowel can lead to all types of diseases. Constipation is a sign of problems in the bowel, and I have been experiencing that way before I became pregnant. It’s all sorts of herbal programs along with having a doctor cleanse your bowel that are out there. I understand that you are also supposed to change your diet. I REALLY want to get started on a program but don’t know if it’s safe because I am pregnant. All the products are all natural but I think maybe could still harm the baby. I really want to have my bowel thoroughly cleansed and my Immune system boosted to it’s highest potential and also all of my internal organs, cells, and tissues detoxified to restore my body back to normal functioning. Has anyone pregnant done this or know of anyone that has? Or does anyone have more info or recomend any particular product or program that is 100% safe for pregnant

Can you give me some foods that help fight colon cancer and some foods we should avoid.

Which one is the healthiest, do they really work? Are any of them dangerous or bad for you at all? Is it beneficial for a 24 year old?

I have rectal burning. Bad. I am 35 and have been scoped in the past, I can’t tell you how many times. My diet has changed a lot b/c of cholesterol issues. Along with this I am having SEVERE bilateral hip bone pain. I don’t know what has caused this, but only a small dose of morphine stops the pain. That is temporary. It was given to me in the hospital for another reason… the morphine pills. The doctors don’t seem to give a flip about the rectal pain nor the hip pain– saying that bilateral hip bone pain isn’t common— and it will go away, but this has been going on since November. What should I do??? I am so depressed about all of this…. b/t my butt and my hips… I just am desperate. Thanks.
