16 weeks pregnant and light rectal bleeding?

   I had what they call internal hemorrhoids when i was preg. I had a little discomfort, but not much, and I had a little rectal bleeding. The doc told me the only way to get rid of the internal ones is surgery, but mine went down after I had my daughter. Next time you are at the doc’s, mention it, and he may give you a rectal exam(I know, yuk) to see what the problem is. Good luck!

   You will know when you have a hemorrhoid. They are very noticeable, and you will have discomfort. Not sure why you have bleeding there.. see a doctor or look it up on http://www.WebMD.com or something…

   yes its ohkay. im 23.5 weeks pregnant and just had this happend to me a couple of days ago.. there wasnt much blood but enough to tell that there was… as long as your vagina is not bleeding of any sorta its ohkay. it wasnt painful for me either but if youve been consipated or anything on the lines of that its more possible its hemrroids. be careful and eat lots of veggies. good luck.

   Could be a anal fissure. Its like a small crack in your rectum. Sometimes they don’t hurt. Or sometimes they don’t hurt until the next bowel movement and then they can hurt like hell. All in all just eat more fibre. Its not dangerous to have them or a reason to worry either. Its just something that happens.

   I had one w/my 1st child and didn’t even know it until the doc told me so when he was sewing me up. I’m sure thats what it is.
